The HPH-8 High Power HID controller allows the user to connect up to (8) 1000 watt HID ballasts to one main control “relay”. It is designed to safely control HID lights from a single 50-amp power source. It accomplishes this by using a 16 foot “trigger” cable that connects to a timeclock or the MDT-1. When the timer connected to the trigger cable turns on, the two heavy-duty relays inside the HPH-8 is energized. When the relays are energized, the lights are turned on.
